Dear friend.

A heartfelt thank you from all of us at Good Vibrations for supporting us in these challenging times… we’ve missed you! And we’ve also missed being able to help you find products that make your life more enjoyable—that’s a connection, and a responsibility, we all take very seriously. Like you, we have been trying to get used to living our lives in a restricted way while wondering what the future holds. Good Vibrations has been in business since 1977 and we have seen a lot of change in our communities over those 40-some years, but absolutely nothing like this. While our stores have been closed, we’ve turned our attention to our website so we could keep people’s lube stocked up, help first-time vibrator users choose a new toy to quarantine with, and send new reading material directly to homes around the Bay and beyond. We’ve been paying close attention to state and local directions about re-opening our stores (we’re even involved in the San Francisco task force that’s been discussing how to handle the economic impacts of the Covid-19 shutdown, including safely re-opening businesses—that’s a real honor). And we’ve been planning for the time we could welcome you back into our stores, particularly as far as health and safety are concerned. Below we’re sharing details about the steps we’re taking to help you feel (and be) as safe as possible during this health crisis. The health and wellbeing of our employees and customers remains a top priority for us, now and as our communities continue to re-open.


Good Vibrations has always been a “clean, well-lighted place” to shop—that was our tag line in the early 1980s!--and we want to share details about our increased safety and hygiene measures. Our Sex Educator Sales Associates participate in a wellness check before each shift, and of course staff who feel under the weather are instructed not to come in at all. We will enforce social distancing of six feet or more (at the cash register, look for floor markings to help us all keep a safe distance). Hand sanitizer is available for staff and customers. (Just ask us if you don’t see it.) Masks are required to be worn by staff and customers at all times. We have increased our cleaning frequency in high-touch areas, and clean the store daily. We are wearing gloves to receive and stock product and while cleaning.


Whether you are a returning customer or we are meeting you for the first time, we so appreciate you! It’s really a pleasure and a privilege to help you find what you need to add a little pleasure, distraction, relaxation or connection to your life. Thank you for your support, and we will all get through these tough times together.
